Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Agape Athletics Portal ("Portal"), operated by Agape Christian Academy ("we," "us," or "our") in Middlefield, Ohio. By creating an account or using the Portal, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

The Portal is intended for parents, guardians, coaches, and staff associated with Agape Christian Academy athletics programs. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Student accounts are created and managed by their parent or guardian.

2. Accounts

Accounts are authenticated via SMS magic links sent to your registered mobile phone number. You are responsible for maintaining access to your phone number and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at athletics@agapeca.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Registration and Payments

Registration for athletics programs requires completing all required forms, providing accurate player information, and paying applicable fees.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.
Registration is not complete until payment is confirmed or an exception is granted by the Athletic Director.
Refund requests must be directed to the Athletic Director at athletics@agapeca.com.

4. SMS Communications

By opting in during registration, you consent to receive text messages from the Portal related to athletics activities. Message frequency varies; during active seasons, expect approximately 2 to 10 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of SMS does not deactivate your Portal account — you may still log in via the web.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Provide false or misleading information during registration
Use the messaging system for purposes unrelated to Agape athletics
Attempt to access another user's account or data
Use the Portal in any way that violates applicable laws

6. Communication Records

All messages sent through the Portal are permanently archived and cannot be deleted. Coach-to-player messages are automatically visible to the player's parent or guardian. This policy exists to protect our students and maintain transparency.

7. Medical Information

You are responsible for providing accurate and current medical information for your student. This includes allergies, medical conditions, medications, and physical exam records. Inaccurate or outdated medical information may affect your student's eligibility to participate.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Portal is provided "as is." Agape Christian Academy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Portal. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Portal is a communication and administrative tool and does not replace direct communication with coaches or school staff when needed.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Portal after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
